Miami, Florida (September 14,
2013). With just a few days after
its release on Sept 10, Gloria Estefan's new album The Standards
is already No. 1 on Amazon Bestsellers charts in Music, Pop,
Vocal Pop, Broadway & Vocalist; iTunes Latino; and Barnes &
Noble in the United States. In support of the album Estefan
performed songs on Good Morning America, The View, CBS "Second Cup Cafe",
Rachael Ray, The Chew, and Fox & Friends.
The Standards celebrates great tunes from the
American Songbook, reaching out to Estefan's global fan base via international
song classics sung in English, Spanish, Italian, Portuguese and French, some
with new lyrics written by Estefan herself. The album also features
collaborations with world class, award-winning artists like singer songwriter
Laura Pausini, violinist Joshua Bell and saxophonist Dave
Koz.
Estefan will travel to Europe in October, performing at the
world famous Royal Albert Hall in London on October 17th. She will
also perform in Basel, Switzerland and for the Night of the Proms in Belgium and
Holland.

Estados Unidos. En apoyo del álbum Estefan interpretó canciones en Good Morning
America, The View, CBS "Second Cup Cafe", Rachael Ray, The Chew y Fox &
Friends.
The Standards celebra grandes melodías del cancionero americano,
llegando a la base global de fans de Estefan a través de clásicos con
renombre internacional, cantados en español, inglés, italiano, portugués y
francés, con algunas letras renovadas, escritas por ella misma. Este álbum
también se destaca por sus colaboraciones con artistas premiados y con
reconocimiento mundial, de la talla de la intérprete y autora Laura
Pausini, el violinista Joshua Bell y el saxofonista Dave

Estefan viajará a Europa en octubre, que se realiza en el
famoso Royal Albert Hall de Londres el 17 de octubre. También se llevará
